Kubota Engine America Corp. is introducing a new generator. Their goal is to better serve the power generation market in a wide range of industries and their diverse applications. In a competitive market, Kubota manages to continually raise the bar. Learn more about the GL14000 and how it may top your list to be your next generator.
Kubota GL14000 Technical Stats
The Kubota GL14000 diesel generator is a 60Hz, 14 kVA single-phase generator. This particular generator is Tier 4 Final-certified. Kubota’s reliable D902 diesel engine powers the new unit. It is much quieter than anything similar on the market. In fact, it boasts noise levels as low as 65 dB while running, sources report.
“The GL14000 complements our existing Lowboy II line of generators. But it offers greater application potential to suit our customers’ industrial needs,” says Gary Odden,
Kubota generator expert. “At Kubota, we saw increasing demand for
diesel power generators. Especially in the 14 KVA range. This can serve industries such as construction, oil and gas, and back-up power. The GL14000’s higher outputs allow us to give them greater power capability.”
With ample power and a compact design, the GL14000 promises to serve commercial and private consumers. The diesel's fuel efficiency is an even more attractive feature. Whether you're on a worksite or powering your home in an emergency, it can do the job.
Other GL14000 Generator Features
The LowboyPro line’s GL14000 is fully enclosed and compact. Most competitors offer only open units. These features allow the GL14000 to reduce noise while keeping out environmental factors. This improves the running life of the generator. It also has both the receptacle and terminal in one package, offering more versatility for use. Furthermore, it comes with a higher quality alternator. It gets triple sealing in production and uses corrosion-resistant paint.
“We’re happy to offer our customers more reliable options,” Odden says. “The GL14000 is unique in that it is compact, while still maintaining Kubota quality. Its dependability is second to none, which our customers have come to expect. The long-lasting alternator, higher outputs, and other upgrades will only help us serve them more.”
The GL14000 will be on display at The Rental Show and hits the market at the beginning of the second quarter this year. More information will be available on Kubota’s website ahead of that time.
